Walker Glass, Montreal, introduces a bigger stock sheet size of its acid-etched Velour finish in 6 millimeters, 10 mm and 12 mm in 100 inches by 144 inches on clear glass, according to a March 28 release.
The traditional 96 inches by 130 inches will remain available for all skus including acid-etched mirror and all tints. The new size, 100 inches by 144 inches, is available at no extra charge.
“By offering a larger stock sheet size we hope to give our customers a better cutting yield which ultimately turns into profit for them," said Ross Christie, vice president, Sales & Marketing, in the release. "We have inventory on the floor and are ready to fill orders.”
Walker Glass Co. launched its full surface acid-etched glass and mirror product line under the Walker Textures brand name in 2002. Since then, the company has added a line of custom and stock patterns called Walker Textures Nuance.
