Vitro, S.A.B. de C.V. announced that its glass container production facilities located in Querétaro and Guadalajara have restarted operations on Friday, July 13 and Saturday July 14, 2007, respectively.

Operations at both plants had been temporarily interrupted as a result of a failure in natural gas supply caused by recent incidents at some of PEMEX gas pipelines. We are confident that within the next few weeks we will be able to recover production volumes to satisfy our customers’ requirements. We wish to thank our customers for their patience and understanding during this time, result of unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate our personnel for their outstanding efforts and commitment, as well as PEMEX staff and personnel, our LP gas suppliers and Tractebel for their work to restore as soon as possible the natural gas supply to our production facilities.
