Visteon Corporation has named Jonathan Maples to the position of Vice President of Quality and Materials Management. With extensive experience working in operations and supplier management, Maples brings exceptional talent and knowledge to Visteon.

"We're very pleased to welcome Jon to the Visteon team," said Michael Johnston, President and Chief Operating Officer, Visteon Corporation. "I'm very excited about the opportunity to join the Visteon team," said Maples. "As one of the world's largest suppliers of integrated automotive components and systems, we have the potential to attract and retain the best suppliers in the industry. We will continue to develop and implement robust materials management strategies that will allow us to deliver the best possible products to our customers."

Maples' most recent position was Executive Vice President of Business Services for MSX International, a position he held since May 2000. In this role, Maples was responsible for managing the company's quality relationship management, supply chain, human capital and custom communication services.

Maples served as Vice President of Operations at DaimlerChrysler Corporation in Auburn Hills, Mich. During his more than 17-year-career with the automaker Maples held a variety of positions including: operations, supplier management, procurement strategy and administration, and sales and planning. From November 1997 to January 1999, he served as Vice President of Supplier Management where Maples launched the successful SCORE program, which resulted in significant savings for the automaker and its suppliers.

Maples began his career as a Senior Accountant at Price Waterhouse in Detroit, Mich., and was a registered certified public accountant.
