View answered the complaint by asserting that Sage’s patents are invalid and are not infringed by View.
View intends to defend its rights in the litigation and does not believe it is liable to Sage for infringement of any valid claim of any patent. View has also filed a counterclaim alleging that Sage infringes View’s U.S. Patent No. 8,243,357, entitled “Fabrication of Low Defectivity Electrochromic Devices.” View seeks damages and injunctive relief for the infringement of its patent. View has retained outside counsel at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr LLP to represent the company in the case.
