Vesuvius Fused Silica Europe promotes Mr. Lopez to Sales Manager

He replaces Thomas Schmidt who has accepted the appointment as Innovation Manager, Marketing and New Business Development within the Fused Silica Division. Carlos has been with Vesuvius since 1987 holding a variety of product line and sales management responsibilities in the Fused Silica Division. Most recently, Carlos has been M&T Manager - Rolls and Specialties. Carlos will be located in Feignies, and reports to the Business Unit Director - Rolls and Specialties Europe.



Doug Brown is Sales Manager - Fused Silica Division Americas, and he assumes the additional responsibility as Product Line Manager - Rollers World Wide. Doug has been with Vesuvius since 1994, and has held key managerial responsibilities in both sales and plant operations. He has a wide range of experience in foundry, glass, and industrial products.
