Usmania Glass Sheet Factory (UGSF) Limited approved 50 per cent dividend including 15 per cent interim dividend and 25 per cent bonus shares for its shareholders for the 2003-04 fiscal year.
The dividend was approved by the board of directors of the company in its 18th annual general meeting (AGM) on the factory premises in Chittagong recently.Chairman of the board of directors of the company Imamuz-Zaman presided over the meeting, said a press release.
The company earned a post-tax net profit of over Tk 64 million in the 2003-04 financial year.
A large number of shareholders of the company attended the AGM.
Among others, UGSF directors Deeraj Malaker, Mostafizur Rahman, Manzur-ur Rahman Raskin, Mohammed Sadek, Sirajuddin Haider, Mahbub Hossain and Mohammed Abdur Rab, Managing Director Md Nazimuddin and Company Secretary Mohammed Ibrahim were also present on the occasion.
