The owner of a glass company in Arizona is accused of hiring vandals to break school bus windows his firm then repaired.
Troy Vollberg of Tri-State Glass was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of conspiracy and fraud for allegedly hiring others to break the windows on 149 buses in Scottsdale Unifired School District in April and August, The Arizona Republic reported.Three other unnamed suspects also were arrested.
The vandalism cost taxpayers $339,000, the newspaper said.
