Last year saw the Leicestershire-based fabricator acquire an additional factory to house solely their aluminium production operations and this was accompanied by significant investment in the company’s aluminium machinery, which included a full suite of Emmegi equipment for the 43,000 sq ft space.
For their PVCu production facility, Unique have acquired a second BDM cutting and machining centre with additional saw blade and end milling capabilities, as well as two six-head welders and a SV 800 corner cleaner as part of their Urban frame line.
Unique have also purchased three new quad welders and a second SV 800 corner cleaner to further enhance their Urban sash line. Finally, a LINK-9045 two-head welder and miller with a SV530S-C CMC corner cleaner complete Unique’s latest machinery purchases.

This most recent investment from Unique equates to around £2.5 million worth of PVCu machinery to further optimise quality and efficiency for the company’s new and existing customers.
