Turkish Sisecam Group Signs Credit Agreement For Its Glass Factory To Be Built In Bulgaria

The Turkish Sisecam Group has signed a loan agreement which will provide for the financing of its glass factory to be established in Bulgaria.

The agreement was signed between the Sisecam Group and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

The Bulgarian Economy Minister, Lidiya Shuleva,the chairman of Trakia Glass Bulgaria, Alev Yaraman and the IFC attended the signing ceremony organized in the Turkish Embassy in Sofia. The IFC will finance 50 percent of the costs of the glass factory which will be established by the Sisecam Group in the Bulgarian city Týgoviste.

The building of the factory will be inaugurated on July 6-7 with the participation of the prime ministers of both countries and is expected to be concluded within one year.
