007 will be seen looking seriously shaken in his latest movie - currently filming at Pinewood in the UK-when he walks smack into a glass wall as he tries to make his escape following an interrogation.

The wall - a huge 4 metre x 2.5 metre sheet of clear toughened glass set in a steel channel - was supplied by Pilkington Glazing in South London.“The film's production team got in touch with Pilkington Technical Advisory Service about the feasibility of using such a big sheet of glass,” said Robert Eaves, marketing executive with Pilkington Glazing.“Apparently the scene involves Bond being brought into a room to be questioned, then turning round to find the bad guys have disappeared. He tries to escape, only to find that the gap in the wall is actually glass and he's trapped.”

The film, working title Bond 20, started filming in January and is due for release later this year.
