To satisfy the requirements, the use of the spacer SGG SWISSPACER is one of the most efficient and simplest ways to improve the Uw value of the window. As one of the first insulating glass manufacturers CLIMAplusSECURIT partner Thermoglas Niederrhein GmbH is producing insulating glass with a “warm edge” as a standard product.
Thermoglas Niederrhein GmbH has been switching its insulating glass production gradually since July 2009 and only processes the so-called “Warm-edge” product SGG SWISSPACER as a spacer. This conversion is a response to the current EnEV 2009 and ensures that the higher standards of the U values of insulating glass, which have been demanded since October 2009, can be satisfied. In addition, since the foundation of Thermoglas in 1976, it has been a fixed part of the company’s philosophy to continuously optimize high-quality products and to attach importance to quality rather than quantity. “After all, part of a quality product are also quality components”, says Managing Director Knut-Ulrich Röttger. The conventional aluminium spacers have, therefore, been removed from the programme step by step up to 2010.
