Dutch architect Dirk Jan Postel, won this year's Dupont Benedictus award for his work on a small summer home near Avallon, in the Burgundy region of France.

The award, now in its tenth year, honors the winner of a competition for projects incorporating the innovative use of laminated glass. It is a collaborative competition with Dupont and the American Institute of Architects (AIA), with support from the International Union of Architects.

This year's winner, "Le Temple de l'amour" (Temple of Love), is a glass pavilion, influenced by an octagonal structure on the property where a princess of Orange once met with her lover. The residence captures a river view and the expansive landscape of the Burgundy region.
