The five segments will be: Saflex(r), CPFilms(r), Technical Specialties (including Flexsys(r), Therminol(r) and Skydrol(r)), Integrated Nylon, and Other.

Quinn, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Solutia Inc. ``In addition, the new segment reporting will more effectively communicate Solutia's current operating environment and business unit strategy.''
