Sklostroj has developed as one of the first companies a Servo Plunger mechanism. This complete new mechanism can work for 1 up to 4 GOBs.
The Servo Plunger is developed to handle up to 25 cycles/minute, regardless of which process or product. Also because of the servo driven mechanism it is now possible to link the information from the Servo Plunger SW with the Feeder and therefore have an online GOB weight control for each machine cycle. The mechanism is made up of a standard Siemens servo Motor, of screw-spindles, nut, and a brace which joins and keeps the single Plungers in the right centre distance. The stroke repeatability and positioning accuracy of the plunger is within some 1/100 of an mm possible.
Inductive sensors are protecting the plunger against collision and are for referencing of the plunger.
