Ardagh Group announces that John Riordan, who has been Finance Director of the Group since 1999, has been appointed President of Ardagh Glass North America.
David Matthews, formerly of DS Smith plc, has joined the Group as Chief Financial Officer and will be proposed for membership of the Board of Directors of Ardagh Group S.A. at its next Annual General Meeting in May 2014.John Riordan’s appointment comes ahead of the anticipated enlargement of our North American Glass business, through the acquisition of Verallia North America, and reflects the importance of this market to the future growth of the Group.David Matthews brings considerable experience from his time at DS Smith plc and Bunzl plc to Ardagh as it moves to the next stage of its development.
