Scheuten Solar has introduced f | solarfloat HT (High Transmission) glass on the new P6-60 and P6-66 modules.

This glass features a quartz- hard anti-reflection coating, which the company says improves power output and energy yield. f | solarfloat HT glass is made by f | glass (a joint venture by Scheuten and Interpane). The cover glass of Scheuten Solar’s new modules exists of highly transparent, low-iron float glass resulting in improved light transmission.Combined with the anti-reflection coating PV modules fitted with f | solarfloat HT Glass will provide an up to 3 percent higher energy yield. Furthermore these new Scheuten Solar PV modules are resistant to acid or salt, have a high mechanical strength and are less prone to pollution from algae or calcium, according to the company.
