More than 800 people attended the Awards, designed to recognise outstanding business performance throughout the construction industry, held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday 22nd September.
The award submission included information about our new products such as Vario and EcoClear, about our investment in two new plasterboard and plaster plants and details of our innovation, sustainability and people. During the awards ceremony it was commented that the breadth and depth of what Saint-Gobain can offer the construction industry was key to winning this award, which was accepted by Peter King on behalf of Saint-Gobain.

Two other Saint-Gobain businesses were also short listed this year, Solaglas for ‘Specialist Contractor of the Year’ and British Gypsum for the ‘Environmental Leadership Award’. Both businesses should be extremely proud to have made the shortlist in these two high profile categories in a year that a record number of entries were received.
