Saint-Gobain's Building Distribution division announces the acquisition, by Point.P, of Dubois Matériaux (Kingfisher group).Dubois Matériaux, merchant specialised in the distribution of timber, board and insulating materials, had a turnover of 246 million euros in 2002 and employs 795 people.
Its network comprises 14 locations around France.
The acquisition of Dubois Matériaux fits in with the Point.P groups growth strategy and comes to complete its offering on the « Timber-Board and Insulation » market.
The acquisition finalisation is subject to the prior consent of the French antitrust authorities.
