Reichhold names new plant manager at Pensacola facility

Reichhold named Hersch Craven as plant manager of its Pensacola facility in Pensacola, Florida.Craven reports to Hocutt Phillips, vice president of global operations for Reichhold's Coating and Performance Resins business.

Craven is accountable for directing the manufacturing and delivery of products according to customer specifications in a safe, cost efficient and environmentally sound manner.

Prior to joining Reichhold, Craven spent the last six years as the plant manager of the Union Carbide Star Plant in Hahnville, LA, and the Shell Polypropylene Company/Union Carbide Corp. Cypress Plant in Norco, LA. With over 23+ years experience in polymers and catalyst manufacturing, Craven has a proven track record of success and performance. At the Cypress Plant he successfully developed and implemented a project to increase annual production by 40 percent.

"Hersch has experience in managing virtually all functions within manufacturing," said Phillips. "His leadership with a focus on cost reduction, increasing production and improving productivity is key in taking Pensacola to new levels of success."

Craven has a MBA from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY.
