Denver-based RavenBrick® and Manko Window Systems, Inc. have joined forces to expand coverage for RavenBrick’s Smart Window technology, RavenWindow.

The addition of Manko means we are one step closer to complete coverage for the US market,” said Alex Burney, CEO of RavenBrick, developer and manufacturer of RavenWindow, a thermochromic window filter with solar–reactive tint technology. The filter transitions from the clear state to the tinted state and back based on outside temperature. This Smart Window technology manages solar heat gain, reducing energy consumption by up to 30%―A considerable savings with heating and air conditioning accounting for up to 34% of a building’s energy use.

“Reducing energy use for both commercial and residential buildings is a priority. Because RavenWindow requires no wiring, it has become the ideal solution for integrating Smart Window technology as a key component for energy savings, green building, and sustainability,” Kevin Bahner National Sales Manager for Manko Window Systems.

Manko offers a diverse product line, several locations, and over 20 field representatives, covering eleven states (CO, NM, UT, NB, SD, ND, KS, MO, WY, AR and AZ.).

RavenWindow will be available for commercial and residential installations the fourth quarter of 2014.
