The headquarters of PPG Industries will resume operations tomorrow morning. The approximately 1,200 employees of PPG who work in PPG Place were evacuated at about 11 o'clock this morning in the wake of apparent terrorist attacks launched on the United States.

There is no indication this evening that any PPG employees were killed or injured in the attacks.

Security precautions were redoubled at PPG facilities worldwide and no incidents have been reported.

PPG officials do not anticipate any interruption in the company's ability to supply customers.

Pittsburgh-based PPG is a global supplier of coatings, glass, fiber glass and chemicals with about 120 manufacturing facilities in more than 20 countries.
