With the support of 8 national glass and glazing national associations representing thousands of flat glass processors and transformers from all over Europe, Glass for Europe pursues its mission of supporting a dynamic, influential, and valued flat glass industry in the European Union.
“The flat glass producers are among our founding members and are very active in the Federation’s advocacy actions including buildings and building renovation policies,” says Piotr Kardas, Secretary General of Polish Glass. “During the last 5 years, flat glass companies present on the Polish market have massively invested in the modernization of their production lines. Thanks to this increased capacity, Poland is today the 3rd biggest float glass producer in Europe with a production of circa 1,5 million tonnes per year”.
