In the forthcoming months, 3,500 employees at 54 sites across eight countries will be able to access a choice of 17 IT courses in five languages.e-Learning allows people to learn at their desks using their PC, rather than having to spend days away from the office.
Said Joanne Hope, group HR project manager, "This first phase is just the start of making tailored, flexible training available to everyone."The first range of courses - centred around Microsoft Office will be available over the Intranet and will be accessed using a personal User ID and password.As the IT network capability is extended and language coverage improved, the facility will be rolled out to sites worldwide.
