Pilkington: Activ Earns Effectiveness Award

Presented at this year's IPA - Institute of Practitioners in Advertising - Effectiveness Awards, the Bronze award pays tribute to the 360 per cent sales increase achieved since launching its Activ tv, print and new media campaign in 2006.

Household names such as Coca Cola and Weetabix also received Bronze awards at the same event.



The award went to the whole of the 'Pro-Activ' team, which includes the Pilkington sales and marketing staff together with their advertising agency BJL. It recognised the impeccable working relationship between the two companies, allowing the implementation of an integrated communications plan which successfully raised awareness amongst consumers and promoted engagement and commitment from the trade.



"This is a very prestigious award and we were up against some extremely stiff competition," said marketing communications manager Julia Berkin.  "I would like to take this opportunity to thank all parties who have worked so hard to ensure the success of Pilkington Activ."
