At a recent Aspen Institute Conference on "The Convergence of U.S. National Security and the Global Environment," Paul Tebo, DuPont vice president - Safety, Health and Environment, described the company's approach to sustainable growth.

He discussed the tremendous progress DuPont has made in reducing its environmental "footprint" and how good environmental stewardship can also be very good for business.

Paul described the business case for addressing global climate change using examples of energy efficiency in DuPont global manufacturing facilities, growth in products like Tyvek© HomeWrap© that provide energy efficiency for customers, and the successful participation of DuPont in the developing market for carbon credits created by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
