Neutral-reflective, high-performance glass to help hotel earn LEED certification - The new Omni Nashville Convention Center Hotel, a 21-story, 825,000-square-foot tower, was constructed with SOLARBAN® R100 glass by PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG).

The neutral-reflective, solar-control, low-emissivity (low-e) glass is part of a comprehensive energy management system that is expected to help the building use 20 percent less energy than a standard hotel of comparable size.Solarban R100 glass offers visible light transmittance (VLT) of 42 percent and solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) of 0.23.
