Venture Tape, a world-leading manufacturer of adhesive tapes, has introduced a new smaller-sized version of its popular Slip-Stop Guard edging tape, which greatly improves the efficiency of edging processes in optical labs.
In response to feedback from optical lab managers, the company now offers Venture Tape #434 and #437 Slip-Stop Guard Jr. Available in either blue or clear, these round, edging enhancement tapes are designed to protect the backside of lenses from the edger chuck and improve chuck friction. They remove cleanly after use, leaving no residue and reduce slippage and lens scratching during the edging process. Both products are now produced in 22 mm size to accommodate smaller lenses, along with the original 35 mm size, and are available in 1,000 or 2,000 piece rolls.
