The move to new premises has boosted sales for AGR's Rennes operation in north west France. The new 1,100 sq metre warehouse, more than twice the size of the previous site, is now able to stock a full range of replacement glasses and trims, which is replenished weekly from the French central warehouse in Paris.

"The old facility was too small and conditions were far from world class," said Holger Ebert, operations director for AGR Europe. "With the lease due to expire, we took the opportunity to move to a more suitable location.

"The project team did an excellent job and after only three months we are already seeing the benefits of the move, with sales growing according to our targets."

The new warehouse is fitted with the Metalstock racking system, standard throughout AGR Europe. The move took place over a weekend, with more than 10,000 pieces of glass and trims having to be crated and transferred in just 72 hours. The project team included Richard Lawrence, Maxime De Rouvray, Christophe Dumazeau and Franck Collin.
