Pilkington's new non executive director Christine Morin-Postel, who joins the Pilkington board on 1 August, has been getting to know the Company better.

Last month (June) she toured Greengate, Eccleston and Lathom, chatting to shop floor staff and even trying her hand at some backlight assembly work at the automotive plant.At Lathom she viewed the exhibition centre before visiting the new R&D coater and the surface analysis labs.
"I was particularly impressed by the tidiness and cleanliness of the Eccleston facility," she said. "And I have been struck by the commitment of the employees at all the sites I have visited."
