After the successful introduction of the new single spindler RS 89.04 during the glasstec 2002 in Düsseldorf, the fourth generation of the dynamic family company from Fürth/Bavaria continues the well-proved tradition by the modified and revised series RS 8.14 and RS 89.01 (each with two spindles working synchronously).

The basic components which are well-known and proven all over the world for grinding and/or polishing of flat shaped glasses as well as rectangular glasses with small radii on their corners etc. now have been combined into a new unique machine generation designed according to the requirements of the market.

New drive units, a more intensive cooling equipment, as option the new multi-channel-cooling (MCC), a new bridge concept on which the grinding and polishing spindles are assembled, modular construction as well as service stations on the right and left side of the machine frame are only a few of the many highlights which make the known and successful series even more efficient, easier to handle and thus more economical.

Due to the short change-over times, fixing of suckers in the working area without flexible tubes and the software easy to operate together with a quick change of program, the new generation of edging machines of Rohmer + Stimpfig even for small series is designed for most comfort and easy maintenance as well as economical benefit for the user.
