The table can function as a stand-alone unit, or accommodate an add-on belt-drive system. It features a new aluminum alloy bridge and smaller carriage that reduces moving mass and increases structural rigidity.
The cutting bridge is driven by two independent electronically synchronized motors.
This high-speed bridge design reduces mechanical parts for simplicity, provides reduced maintenance and improved speed.
The EVO can reach a maximum speed of 200 meters per minute and a maximum acceleration of 6 meters per square second, reducing glass-cutting time by 50 percent, according to a release.
Other features include Windows control software and a glass thickness sensor that allows the cutting table to automatically set all parameters of the plate to be cut from 2 millimeters to 25 mm.
