Since summer 2018, Christopher Götz has been contributing his expertise to insulbar Application Engineering and Product management.

The topic of “thermal separation for windows, doors and façades” is not entirely new to him – the mechanical engineer was already able to get a taste of the department as a placement student during his degree. Now, with him having completed his Masters – which focused primarily on “Plastics technology” – and following a period spent in Japan, Ensinger have persuaded him to work for them permanently.

As an application engineer, he advises and supports our customers on the technical design and optimisation of insulbar insulating profiles. He also contributes to development projects within the scope of product management. With his friendly, open and honest manner, he is already a member of staff valued by customers and colleagues alike.

For the young man from Swabia, it is important that what he does is meaningful. “At a time when, because of climate change, conserving energy is becoming more and more important, we are making an important contribution with our insulating bars”, enthuses Christopher. “It is exciting for me to be able to play a part in this through my work.”

Where his life outside of work is concerned, the 27-year-old loves to go to the mountains – for hiking and cycling, but above all for skiing, his great passion. For several years, he has been passing this enthusiasm on to others in his capacity as a ski instructor. One example of this was during an extended stay in the Land of the Rising Sun, where he instructed Japanese school pupils.
