Kensington Glass Arts Inc. of Ijamsville, MD and Paul Rabinowitz Glass Co. Inc. of Philadelphia, PA acquired certification after going through the ANSI accredited 3rd party NACC program which consists of several requirements intended to give building owners, general contractors, design professionals, and other stakeholders confidence that the glass and aluminum installation process will be performed to meet the needs of the project.
Both of the new additions boast long and successful track records in the industry, with Kensington celebrating 40 years and Rabinowitz celebrating 85.
It is noteworthy, that even with this significant experience, both companies recognized the business benefits that NACC certification provides in their effort to continuously improve their respective company’s performance.
"Now that we have completed the NACC certification process, we have found more value than expected. As we are both in-house fabricators of glass products and contract glaziers, we discovered that we had different policies and procedures in place for different workgroups.
NACC has already helped us to regain more consistency in the way we work and interact and we look forward to an ongoing process of constant improvement.
While we have always had a commitment to this process, having NACC involved will help us to retain the momentum that has been generated by their ongoing engagement.

Mark Rabinowitz, President of Paul Rabinowitz Glass, offered similar sentiments.

In the end, attaining this certification took time and hard work, but showed that being an industry leader is ongoing.”
The NACC program launched in 2015 and already has14 certified companies certified with several more in the process of being certified. NACC Program Manager Jeff Dalaba continues to be pleased with the growth.
