Joachim Knauer has been appointed General Manager for Emhart Glass GmbH and member of the Group Management team for Emhart Glass SA.
Mr. Knauer replaces Dr. Heinz Houben, who retired from Emhart Glass in May.
Mr. Knauer holds a Master's degree in Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur), and has spent his whole professional life in the container glass industry. Since 1992, he held the position of General Manager of DNL Behälterglas GmbH & Co KG, and since 2000, was the General Manager of all LUENER GLASS operations.
