Marposs Joins Forces with Brankamp

MARPOSS S.P.A.  ACQUIRES THE  FULL OWNERSHIP OF BRANKAMP GMBHBOLOGNA, Italy / ERKRATH, Germany, February 29, 2012Marposs S.p.

A. acquires the  full ownership of Brankamp GmbH, a developer, manufacturer and supplier of process monitoring solutions, located in Erkrath, near Dusseldorf, Germany.



Established in 1977, BRANKAMP  makes a range of solutions for  process and machine condition monitoring, currently mainly for press and forming process applications. Its market-leading products are primarily used in the automotive industry, as well as in other industrial sectors to prevent process errors, provide support for quicker machine set-up and to eliminate or limit costly damages . The over 50.000 systems installed worldwide help BRANKAMP’s  customers to increase productivity and decrease total life cycle costs of machine tools.



Hans-Peter Schneider, Managing Director of BRANKAMP, said that “working with Marposs represents a perfect opportunity to rolling out BRANKAMP products on a broader geographic scale via Marposs’ global distribution and Customer service network.
