Emhart Glass is happy to announce that the new machine is offered with two available electronic options. The original design has a set of Nema 12 enclosures mounted at the rear of the machine. A new remote electronics option allows the users to place the air conditioned Nema 12 enclosures up to 2.7 meters away from the machine.
The new remote option allows users to configure their line layouts with much greater flexibility as the machine in this configuration has a much smaller footprint. In older glass plants, line space always must be considered when purchasing new equipment. The FleXinspect T connects to the remote cabinet through an overhead conduit that can telescope and rotate to an infinite number of positions, unlike other machines on the market that support remote electronics cabinets with floor level conduit. The overhead conduit allows the end users to place the cabinet in front or behind the single line conveyors and keeps all of the cables neat and clean.
Another benefit from running all of the cables overhead and not on the floor where dirt and broken glass can accumulate is the elimination of a tripping hazard that is created when flexible conduits are positioned between the devices.
The new remote electronics cabinets have a clean design that ensures good visual sight lines and easy access to all components. Understanding that uptime and reliability are the most important features in a cold end inspection machine, Emhart Glass has designed the new FleXinspect T for top reliability by incorporating logical panel layouts, optimized to separate the low voltage and high voltage signal and power cables used within the machine.
