The works were carried out on the site of NewCold’s new offices and facility in Wakefield, a specialist, international refrigerated logistics company and included the treatment of over 250m2 of glazing.This innovative surface treatment, developed for the renovation, 'non-stick' protection and maintenance of glass, is the brainchild of Ritec International, a strategic supply partner to Dortech.Their product, ClearShield® forms a chemical bond with the glass surface, improving its quality and preventing dirt and atmospheric pollution from being able to embed on the glass surface.
The benefits of ClearShield® include a significant reduction in the amount of time it takes to clean a glazed screen, window or roof-light and the cleaning cycle by half on average. It is therefore perfect for use on buildings in town centres, in close vicinity to railway lines, leisure centres, or glazing in ‘hard to reach’ or inaccessible locations.
