Hancun Primary School has six classes in total, providing elementary education for the children from the nearby villages.The school has poor teaching conditions, teaching equipment and learning environment, lagging far behind the urban schools in Luoyang. LandGlass Labor Union called on all staff to donate for the children here after learning about the news from Schoolmaster Hu that it was in a great shortage of sport equipment and stationaries. During the donation activity, both the leaders and common staff of our company actively donated various materials including stationaries, sport equipment, books and periodicals, and children’s clothes. Some staff even bought new pencils and schoolbags specially and sent them to the working personnel.
On Thursday Morning, staff representatives of LandGlass drove on the muddy road in the rain to Hancun Primary School and handed over the collected materials to the children. They expressed their thanks and smiled while carrying the stationaries and books. After a simple donation ceremony, staff representatives of LandGlass had a discussion with the teachers and children of Hancun Primary School. Chairman Wang of LandGlass Labor Union stated that LandGlass would as always care for our next generation and shoulder more social responsibility as an innovated enterprise, so as to create a better learning environment for the children.
