“Lattimer is globally renowned for being one of the world’s most highly skilled and experienced manufacturers of parts for the bottles glass manufacturing industry. As a result we are seeing some of the largest deals we have ever secured in Southeast Asia.

“However, this is still only the tip of the iceberg. We still see a lot more potential to grow in the bottled glass container industry and are actively looking to work with more factory managers and original equipment manufacturers worldwide.”

Lattimer produces more than 20,000 specially engineered components primarily for the bottled glass container manufacturing industry. However, its versatile machining capability can deliver products used for a wide variety of applications in the defence, aerospace, automotive, oil and gas, nuclear and marine industries.

The Lattimer Group employs close to 150 people. Its main machining techniques include milling, grinding, turning and mill-turning.

“We make tens of thousands of components through a variety of complex machining techniques,” said Mr Waterhouse.

“We are keen to communicate our all-round ability as an industry-leading precision machinist. We can make specialist components for the manufacturing and engineering sectors as a whole.

“We want businesses to know we can provide solutions which enhance performance, and drive efficiency and costs savings within the manufacturing process.

“Our ability to provide new and innovative component solutions for our customers has been a key driver for growth. We feel perfectly placed to continue driving sales, both in the UK and overseas, in a multitude of sectors throughout 2014 and beyond.”
