On 5 June 2018, Klaus Bröker (48) took over as the new Director for the Business Unit Central Europe at tremco illbruck GmbH, replacing Stefan Weyer, who left the company in December 2017.

At the start of June 2018, Klaus Bröker took up his new management role in the Business Unit Central Europe at tremco illbruck. Bröker’s career history as an industrial engineer made him the perfect choice for this position.

He joined us from the Xella Group, where he worked as the sales director, having previously held various management positions at Schüco International KG and Winkhaus.

In his new role as Director of the Business Unit Central Europe, the 48-year-old manager – who hails from the Westphalia region of Germany – bears overall responsibility for sales, marketing, product management and logistics, reporting directly to CEO Reiner Eisenhut.

Having settled into the company, Klaus Bröker has defined his initial strategic focal points for the future. “Over the next few months, we will focus on solutions for windows and fire safety”, says Bröker.

“My goal is for us to significantly broaden our base in the German market as well as globally, and to adopt a more strategic approach to our markets”. Customers will be at the centre of all of this action. “We need to learn to understand our customers even more effectively than we do now,” explains Bröker. “We must do this in partnership with our sales team; they are the most important link we have to our customers”.
