After months in the making beautiful stained glass panels depicting the spleandour of the Jubilee River were unveiled at a school this week.
Pupils at St Anthony's primary school in Farnham Road saw the fruits of their labours on Monday after artist Michael Condron finished mounting panels on metal meshing in the shape of the river.The project began last term as part of Creative Partnership scheme with the children heading down to the river to capture the scene on paper.They were then shown stained glass techniques to make their designs a reality before they were fired.Headteacher Christine Harlow, said: "It's delightful.The parents who have seen it were very impressed."
