Coating company expands building façade efforts by welcoming former NGA Chairman, John Heinaman, to their Board of Advisors.

On September 28, 2016, Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI) announced that they are thrilled to welcome former NGA Chairman, John Heinaman, to their Board of Advisors. Mr. Heinaman’s 55 years of commercial glazing experience fits perfectly with DFI’s focus on driving demand for its low-maintenance-plus coating in the building façade market.

Diamon-Fusion®’s benefits have been proven in the market on applications such as the Old Tiffany Building in Manhattan which didn’t have to be cleaned for years after application, to the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, where reducing cleaning labor and chemicals was imperative. The growing popularity of complex geometries in building façades, which can be very costly to clean, makes the Diamon-Fusion low-maintenance-plus coating a must for owners of those projects. And for general contractors, glaziers and fabricators the unique construction-damage-resistance of Diamon-Fusion can also save significant time, money and arguments over damaged glass.

Quote attributable to Russell Slaybaugh, COO at Diamon-Fusion International:

“Building façade is the next big market for our Diamon-Fusion coating. Applications such as the Old Tiffany Building, Nike’s headquarters, Altreca Tower and dozens of others are proof of both the need for and benefit of Diamon-Fusion on exterior glass. John’s experience and insight will help us understand and communicate more effectively with that market and his general business acumen will make our entire DFI team more effective.”
