The award was established to celebrate 50 years of Irish export success to Germany.
The award was designed to celebrate those companies which have pursued successful market entry or growth strategies and companies that are effectively using online media to capture a greater market share. Most of all, the award is designed to celebrate the individuals and management, in sales & marketing, innovation, and production, who have been behind their company’s success – each making their contribution to securing jobs and creating employment in their own localities.
SmartGlass was recently installed on the new state of the art Freya & Idun Ships, two of four longship class-vessels launching as part of Vikings expansion program, which were built in Germany. SmartGlass International also works closely with Schott, a multinational, technology based group developing and manufacturing special glass, specialty materials, components and systems, based in Germany.
