Syria's Supreme Council for Investment has approved some 65 projects in the industrial and transport fields worth more than 10 billion Syrian pounds ($200 million), the official Al Baath newspaper reported Sunday.
The projects include an Iranian venture to produce flat glass worth four billion Syrian pounds ($80m) that would provide 350 jobs as well as 29 transport projects worth 431m Syrian pounds ($ 8.6m).
