From June 8 to 10, the worlds largest exhibition for the solar industry, the Intersolar Europe, drew around 77.000 visitors from 156 countries to Munich. 2.280 exhibitors from 47 nations used all of the 168.000 square meters of the Neue Messe München for their product presentations.

This year the event focused heavily on the energy revolution and Lisec showed a clear path into the solar future with their technological solutions.

The glass bending table was always the core of interest

Intensive consulting talks on all 3 days of the show

Due to the recent sharp rise in the awareness surrounding the topic of energy supply especially photovoltaic modules are demanded more and more. With its production lines for solar “thin” glass and for the manufacturing of encapsuled glass/glass PV-modules Lisec is a trendsetter in the field. The huge modules and the “glass bender” which were the main exhibits of the stand continuously attracted the eyes of the visitors. In a quite impressive way Lisec demonstrated the sheer unbelievable physical properties of 1,9 mm thin float glass which was processed in the Lisec flatbed tempering furnace. Due to its extremely high surface tension this thermally treated glass is highly flexible but also extremely impact resistant and thus offers best properties for the use in glass/glass PV-modules or CSP-parabolic mirrors. Even curved solar modules are easily possible now and therefore new horizons in their applications are open.

The clear booming tendency in the PV-field was confirmed by the highly frequented Lisec stand
