The two companies have cooperated to develop Inex’s next generation packaging inspection solution, the InSpect family of products.

The InSpect system will deploy the Cognex© In-SightT sensor as the vision engine, the “brains” of the system. The system will be programmed through a custom graphical user interface (GUI), designed and developed by Inex. This Inex designed GUI is very intuitive thereby eliminating the setup complexity of typical machine vision systems. Through the flexibility of the Ethernet network feature, the system can literately be configured to address almost any inspection problem, from a single camera solution through multiple camera situations. This Ethernet capability also allows networking of the system(s) to each other as well as to plant wide automation systems. The InSpect system provides a high performance, low-cost solution to the packaging industry that ensures product quality and integrity.
