Industry Chiefs Clamour For Glasstalk: 50% Of Places Sold Within First 10 Days

Date: 21 September 2009

50% of the places for the next GlassTalk – that’s more than 100 guests – were sold in the first 10 days of the event being announced.

And the vast majority of these are the directors and senior managers of some of the biggest and most successful businesses in the glass and glazing industry.

Hopes are high for another sell-out for what will be the second GlassTalk to take place this year, at Daresbury Park Hotel in Cheshire, on 3rd November 2009. With a similar though fine-tuned format to that which proved so popular at the launch in March, the event will see an increase in numbers of almost 60%, although great care is being taken to protect the style of presentation.

For this event – and following requests and comments from guests at and following the last GlassTalk – more ‘speed-networking’ sessions will be organised with tighter supervision to ensure that there will be more opportunities to meet like-minded people, with no duplication.

A series of ‘On the Couch’ sessions are being finalised, to include top industry personalities speaking on a range of topical issues – with audience participation strongly encouraged.

Finally, with the majority of guests again choosing to stay overnight, further networking will take place over a glass of wine or beer, until the sun comes up if the last GlassTalk is anything to go by!

That the vast majority of guests are choosing to stay overnight has much to do with the great value-for-money 24-hour package being offered – just £149 inclusive of VAT, GlassTalk, all meals and overnight accommodation. And even cheaper for guests sharing!

Don’t delay –book now to ensure you’re part of this exciting event!
