I was recently taken on a tour of the new Beaver County Industrial Museum in Darlington by its chairman, Don Inman.

The history of the glass and steel industry is the focus for this new museum. It was previously located on the campus of Geneva College in Beaver Falls and has an extensive collection of documents, photographs, slides, movies, videos and articles from various periods in the history of the steel and glass industry in the county.

However, because of the expense of the project and the difficulty in raising funds in these economic times, it was deemed best to purchase property in Darlington next to some similar museums built by the Little Beaver Historical Society.
