Edgetech I.G. Wins Crystal Achievement Award for 'Edgetech University' Booth Theme

Edgetech I.G. was recently honored with the 2009 Crystal Achievement Award for Most Innovative Marketing Program, Supplier, by Window & Door magazine for the company’s 2008 “Edgetech University” GlassBuild booth. This is Edgetech’s sixth Crystal Achievement Award since 2001.

“Crystal Achievement Awards are always much anticipated within the industry and it is a great honor for Edgetech to be among this year’s winners,” said Erin Johnson, director of marketing for Edgetech I.G. “It is also wonderful timing as we gear up for Edgetech University’s return at GlassBuild America 2009. We have more learning and networking opportunities than ever at our booth and are hoping for another great turnout.”

According to Window & Door, Crystal Achievement Award winners are selected by a panel of judges representing all segments of the industry. The awards are designed to recognize significant innovations and achievements in window and door technology, manufacturing and marketing.

"The weak economy has created tremendous challenges in the window and door market. Our Crystal Achievement Award winners are a testament to the strength and vitality of our industry," says John Swanson, editor/associate publisher. "Our winners make clear there's still a steady flow of new products and technologies emerging in our business, despite the hardships faced by so many companies."

The Edgetech University Booth theme includes courses and learning opportunities from third-party representatives and company experts, an Architectural Learning Center, Super Spacer® application hands-on training, prize drawings, the official I.G. Certification Manual and much more. In 2009, Edgetech has added more third-party representatives and will feature an updated IG Certification Manual at its booth #2219. The company will also sponsor the Energy-Efficiency Town Hall Forum on October 1. For more details, visit www.Edgetech360.com.
