As an industrial engineering group, Fives is at the heart of numerous sustainable development projects regarding development issues for projects designed to produce the sustainable technologies of tomorrow, and social and community issues.

These projects reiterate the Group’s deep commitment to accountability and corporate ethical responsibility, which was made official by the Group’s Corporate Code of Ethics in 2001.  Fives and its subsidiaries subsequently committed to taking numerous steps in favor of Corporate Social Responsibility. In 2008, the Group reaffirmed its strategic commitment to these projects by creating the CSR Department, which aims to give structure, to coordinate and implement Fives’ CSR efforts group-wide, in compliance with the principles laid out in the United Nations Global Compact.This independent department works in close cooperation with the Group’s cross-divisional departments and subsidiaries. The Group’s CSR policy’s priorities Promote energy efficiency in our developments and minimize the environmental footprint of our processes and technologies.Maintain high standards of ethical conduct in all relationships whether internal or with third parties. Implement an efficient and standardized Group-wide Health, Safety and Environmental management system. Reconcile purchasing efficiency and sustainable relationships with our suppliers. Promote diversity and implement regional standards for our employees’ social benefits. Align our employees’ skills and career management with our strategic vision.
